After the 9 hour plane ride we spent 2 1/2 hours in a car to get to Sorrento around 1pm local time today. We slept, ate pasta, slept some more, had gelato, and are about to sleep some more. The weather is perfect. Sorrento seems to be a total tourist town, but very nice. We can see Mt Vesuvius from our hotel balcony and we get to see it up close tomorrow. Can't wait!
